Size: 1000 sqft
Project Budget: 200K
When doing an office design you need to consider the client's feng shui issues and business personality. For this project, we used "metal" as the major design element, to suit our clients' feng shui request. We made the focal wall using a copper effect and with lighting solutions. It really stands out from all the ordinary logo walls on the same floor, and in other offices. Both ends of this focal wall, are curve shaped lighting bulkheads, to hide the T5 lighting tubes, which also match the feng shui requirement---holding the CHI and creating a welcome feeling from outside.
We have made a full height stainless steel filing cabinet to hide all the files, and pantry area as well...
The speically designed round working desk, allows 4-5 people to work in the middle of the office. People can sit inside or outside of the desk. It becomes the major feature in this office and also creates a good feng shui element --- "flow" for their financial investment business.
In this office, we made diff. height partition walls for each separate use requirement, separating the manager area, meeting area ( big enough for 8 people to meet) and working area.
Client Feedback:
"Overall Joyce, we are happy with the result and the office looks to me as a good environment to work in. I appreciate contractor's work and yours very much and also making some additions (lighting and shelf) at your company own cost is well appreciated by us. You guys positive energy and individualism is priceless and is the reason I have had very good faith in your design and work!"
The budget for this office is spent very well, based on the result of the project. The design looks great! The glass doors, marble walls and floors are elegant and stylish. The color of the walls allow for a perfect reflection of the lights. This is a job well done!
